Wow, my cunning plan actually worked! I done gots myself a new full-time job that actually pays more than my current job. This is something of a minor miracle in this town, where pay rates generally suck and the cost of living is ridiculously high. So my current one will be changing to a part time and mostly work-from-home thing for extra income. Woo. I'm both happy and kinda nervous. The latter will last until I'm actually doing the new job, methinks.

Also the roof, for the moment, is free of snow and ice. Frosty, her kids, and a friend got up there today while I was work and cleared the whole thing off. It was a huge job. In fact, I might even have underestimated...
