Swoop: Happy

So I have this crazy idea: Create "portraits" of all of the Transformers characters shown in the first three seasons of the original 80s cartoon in 1,000 square pixels. Each portrait includes a (usually greatly altered) screen capture image of the character (because I can't draw to save my life) and a word that, at least for me, describes the character in the portrait or at least a major aspect of him/her. (Because, let's face it, many of these characters were never well-developed.) Also, the "mood" of the idea should ideally be reflected in the overall feel of it. That's my mission. Whether or not I will succeed...remains to be seen.

When I first decided to make these portrait icons a series, it was going to be a series of just five: The Dinobots. So I did Slag, Grimlock, and this one of Swoop in short order...and then decided to branch out into other characters so that the series of five suddenly became a series of 105. *rolls eyes* In any case, "happy" is pretty much the first word I think of when I think of Swoop. In that, he and Slag are perfect mirrors of each other, and that notion soothes my poetic little soul. So since Slag got an "enraged" icon with an angry red, yellow, and grey color scheme, Swoop gets a "happy" icon with happy mellow blue and pinkish colors. The balance and symmetry make me happy. Or something.
